The Heritage Public Library is a regional library that has two branches, one in New Kent, VA near Interstate 64 Exit 214 and the other in Charles City, VA in the Charles City Courthouse .
Library patrons from both counties are free to use whichever location is more convenient or accessible to them. Your library card works at both locations. You can request items from either library location to be brought to the library location that you use and you can return your library items to either location.
The library system holds over 43,000 materials including books, and audio books, DVDs, videos, music CDs, and magazines.
In addition to these items, thousands of people enter the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, fax documents, access the Internet through the Library’s high speed connection, enjoy state-of-the-art Wi-fi service, participate in computer and Internet training, view a Library exhibit, make copies, or attend one of the Library’s many events.
